Quad bikes on the roads in the UK?
I've seen a lot of people riding quad bikes on main roads round my area, is this now legal?
if so how old do u have to be & do u have to have a licene?
They're only legal if properly licenced, taxed, and insured. There are many "road-legal" quads out there being used by legitimate users, eg farmers or forestry workers. Some are simply used for pleasure use along with trikes and Harleys.
I suspect that what you are seeing are basically toys that are being used illegally by kids and are just causing hassle and annoyance.
Unsure about age limits....best check it out with DVLA at Swansea.
